5 things to know about the Falcons on Wednesday

FLOWERY BRANCH — The Falcons (1-0) are set to play the Cleveland Browns (0-1) in their second exhibition game at 8 p.m. on Thursday at First Energy Stadium.

Here are five things to know about the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday.

1. Practice schedule.  The Falcons have walk-through practice today, which is closed to the media and the public. are set to practice from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The team will travel to Cleveland.

2. Injury report. Running back Terron Ward (ankle), strong safety Kemal Ishmael (shoulder) and kicker Matt Bryant (tightness) will not play in the second exhibition game against the Cleveland Browns. Also, backup center Jake Reed (foot injury) will not play against the Browns.

 4. Shanahan on the offense. Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan discussed the offense and the play of Matt Ryan with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution heading into the second exhibition game.

5. Parms to get his shot. Falcons first-round pick Keanu Neal is set to make his debut against the Browns. Safety Damian Parms a promising  prospect who played at Florida Atlantic is set to get a shot some extended action because of the shoulder injury to Kemal Ishmael.
