FLOWERY BRANCH  — Did someone say playoffs?

The Falcons have a 44.9 percent chance to make the playoffs and need to win all four of their remaining games to clinch the berth, according to makeNFLplayoffs.com.

The playoff race is still wide open in the NFC. No teams have clinched and only three have been eliminated.

The Vikings (99.86 percent chance of making the playoffs; 76.6 percent of earning a first-round bye) and Eagles  (99.81 percent chance of making the playoffs; 64.9 percent chance of earning a first-round bye) are almost certain to make the postseason.

Either team could lose all four of their remaining games and still have at least a 96.9 percent chance of earning a playoff berth, according to the website.

The Saints (94.7 percent) and Rams (93.6 percent) will clinch a playoff berth with two wins in their final four games.

The Seahawks (71.2 percent) will clinch a playoff berth with three wins in their remaining four games.

The Panthers (63.9 percent) and Falcons (44.9 percent) each control their own fates and will make the playoffs if they win their final four games.

Who else in the NFC besides divisional leaders and Carolina ARE GONNA JUMP US when we own a tie breaker over Seattle, Dallas, Greenbay, and Detroit? Not really worried about Carolina...

The odds at this time last year were not great either, but we made it to the Super Bowl. Same record as now also.

The Falcons better get it going against the Saints. I want to see desperate play and a energy New Orleans just can't over come.

Yet, no change at Oc. 44% is being way generous. I think 1% with this joke of an Oc.

But Brady won it all last year and will more than likely be there again this year. Matt Ryan lacks consistency. #notadynasty #gopats

My view of the matter... the offense of line are not rugged and they play scared against the more rugged defensive lineman...need some brothers on the O line...ijs!

That's 44% too high. Should be .9% with this trash heap sarkisan around

If they get in, they won't go anywhere unless they solve two major issues - how to impose their will offensively on a tough defense - that was an issue under Shanahan as well, and playing too soft in zone defense.

It's a shame that we have the best offensive roster in the NFC South, and are struggliing this way. That's what you are left with when you almost have to take what's left as an OC when yours bounces to another team. I would just have to be fined or benched, because I would take if upon myself and call my own plays, and no huddle their a.......sssssss to death. You are gonna be held responsible for what happens to your offense and team anyway. So Matt, go ahead and buck the system, it's time, put up or shut up or die out like many other quarterbacks with stats!!!! I'm done talking til Thursday!!!!!!

It all starts and ends with the whole team. Matt Ryan has no I in his name.

Denise Bretzel every great team has a leader. Matt is our leader. If Matt doesn’t play well the team don’t win. Matt played every well last yr. this yr he’s not so good and that’s a reflection of the team. Matt sucks and so does the team.

I would think it's more like 9.44. I hoping but don't see any way unless we win them all & i don't see that happening. Just don't have the intensity.
